Apricot Flower Korean Liquor Kettle "Gyeyoungbae"KwangJuYo
Need a reminder to cut back on your vices? Gyeyoungbae is a traditional Korean term used to caution against overdoing it. When the upper cup is filled more than about two-thirds, the liquid begins to disappear, almost as if by magic, flowing into the kettle below. The design dates to the late Chosun Dynasty and encourages vigilance against greed.
This handsome set was created in partnership between Kwangjuyo and the National Museum of Korea.
