The Japanese fireman's hood encompasses the head, neck, and face with slits for the eyes and flaps that allow the fireman to uncover his face. Two flaps on the sides cover his neck. Kanji reads “Watanabe.” The outer fabric is done in traditional heavy sashiko stitching and lined with a patterned indigo cotton. (Stool and head form not included.).
