SAKURA AKA SHIZUKU CHAWAN

A deep, cylindrical bowl is ideal for whisking powdered tea to a high froth, while both the shape and the thick walls of this chawan help keep the tea warm for ideal flavor. A low foot allows the shape and design of the chawan to be admired without losing stability. Scattered cherry blossoms circle the exterior, with pale green leaves that pick up the color of the bright green matcha.
