SHIBORI CIRCLE SILK/COTTON SCARF

The collection of scarves is a unique combination of traditional techniques and contemporary design made by artisan and producer groups spread across some of the most remote regions of India. Each piece is hand created using the finest quality natural yarn while helping to provide a sustainable livelihood to the artisan communities who create them.

The Shibori Circle scarf explores the possibilities of tie-dye, clamp, and resists techniques inspired by details and elements from Indian and Japanese textile traditions. Concentric circles are hand-stitched and dyed to create a pattern of ripples in water.
