Indigo Dragon Earrings

Nina Chen uses traditional Taiwanese indigo plant-based dyeing techniques to create one-of-a-kind accessories and jewelry pieces. Her unique jewelry combines indigo-dyed fabric and handmade silver pieces from the Miao, a minority group in China. The Miao are known for their exquisite handicrafts and rich cultural heritage, and their silver jewelry is skillfully handmade through a combination of hammering, forging, carving, and inlaying believed to bring good fortune and ward off evil.
