Hello Korean Volume 2: A Language Study Guide for K-Pop and K-Drama Fans with Online Audio Recordings by K-Drama Star Lee Joon-gi! (Hello Korean with Lee Joon-gi)

Learn Korean as it's actually spoken today in Seoul!

Korean is one of the fastest-growing second languages in the world, due to the huge popularity of K-pop music, Korean food and K-dramas. This book picks up where the first volume ends, and is designed for people who want to learn to speak Korean quickly and correctly—especially K-Pop and K-Drama fans!

Hello Korean features colorful drawings and a cast of young foreigners who are living in Seoul, hanging out together and having fun exploring the city. It features Korean film and TV star Lee Joon-gi, who not only reads the dialogues but contributes a series of stories about his favorite places and things to do in Korea!

Each chapter is organized as follows:

  • An opening dialogue on an everyday topic such as going out or meeting someone
  • A list of useful vocabulary and everyday expressions
  • Grammar explanations, conversations and practice exercises
  • "Talking with Lee Joon-gi": Respond to the prompts as though you are speaking to him!
  • "Lee Joon-gi's Top Travel Sites": describing the actor's favorite places in Korea!

This book is designed by two leading Korean language teachers—Jiyoung Park and Soyoung Yoo—to be used for self-study or classroom instruction.
