Indian Bestiary Handmade Notecards

Brighten someone’s day with a colorful, irreverent animal. Created by the artisans at celebrated Indian art publisher Tara Books, you’ll find five exuberant creatures as imagined by some of the best-known tribal and folk artists of India.

Each card has been screen-printed by hand at Tara Books’ sustainable print workshop in Chennai, South India, which employs, trains and nurtures young bookmaking artisans. Proceeds are shared among the artisans involved, and each set includes an insert that tells the story behind the cards.
