Iron Buddha

This small Buddha figure recalls the Kamakura Daibutsu, also known as the Great Buddha of Kamakura, a cast-bronze Buddha sculpture over 40 feet tall dating from 1252CE.  The statue was originally covered in gold leaf, which exposure to the elements has worn away, and now bears a green patina.
